I was gifted an old book but, unfortunately, the binding was falling apart. You couldn’t read it without all the pages falling out. I still wanted to read the book, so I wrote this Python script using OCR to convert photos of the books pages into text data. Then I converted the text data to an .epub file so I could read it on my Kindle.
